Lanlas Cottages is a perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Situated in a peaceful and secluded area – surrounded by fields and pastureland – we are nestled on the side of a hill overlooking the beautiful Teifi river valley, famous for its salmon fishing.
Lanlas Cottages itself is home to our dogs Missy and Poppy, our chickens, ducks and to James, Rosie and Gertrud – our Kunekune-X pigs, who live in our private woodland just above the cottages. On neighbouring fields, there are grazing sheep and cows.
There is an abundance of wildlife here, including bats, foxes, hedgehogs, badgers and birds such as woodpeckers, buzzards, red kites, wrens, owls, woodcock…
And although our location has the feeling of being remote, we are only two miles from the small market town of Lampeter – the gateway to Ceredigion – with a leisure centre, swimming pool, supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes, pubs, restaurants, take-aways and many independent shops specialising in books, home furnishings, art and craft, clothing, food and drink.
